   could you go to "additional details" and give a few more specific directions? For instance, I’m not sure what you want. Do you want to know my search keywords? The search engines i use? I don’t know the name of your site, if it’s just a personal profile, or if you are a small business trying to sell something. What do you mean by the words "search components"? When you say "Web portal" are you talking about a site where you have a domain name, or are you being hosted by another with a / at the end of their domain name followed with your name? I really came away with a vague concept. I know what you want. I just don t know how to do it.

   As you can see, your question caused more confusion than answers I think.

   By portal, I am assuming you are running something on the line of joomla or postnuke.

   Even a general portal site needs a focus of some sort so that you can make best use of search results on the major engines. Simply having others submit their own on site search widgets will do nothig at all for your SERP
