I would like do know the some basic guidelines for resubmitting my Sign Company website to the search engines. For instance, how often to resubmit (weekly, monthly, etc.), should something be changed on the website each time before resubmitting, which search engines are recommended to submit to (do I send it to the big guys, or, do you get a better bang for the buck with the smaller ones), All in all, every time we resubmit, we tend to get orders for a few weeks, then, they taper off. Is there a recommended software or website that resubmits the website and gets better rankings?

We have been using a piece of software called seo godfather and seems to work very well.

make sure you include in demand keywords in your titles on the blog. It will translate into good title tags and URL names. This will help you rank better in Google.

Also submit your blog to blog ping services like Pingoat.com. Submit your blog to Technorati and BlogCatalog.

I have posted links to my website on forums and my blog and actively participate in the forums, always using my website’s link as my signature. Same in my blogs. But they just don’t seem to be getting picked up by yahoo and msn’s web crawlers. Only a few of them have come up as inlinks on my webmaster’s page. How long does it usually take? Are some forums better than others? Does it depend on how often those forums are crawled or updated? Or is it something I’m doing wrong?
