Is Software Submission To Get Backlinks Outdated?

I don’t think so although I do not recommend spamming.
a quick Google search yielded these results for blog finder software

Did not try yet but I might look into it.

Im looking at buying backlinks and i read alot about organic backlinks is buying backinglinks bad?

http://www.stateyourbeef.com/home

Hi,

Many people have asked the question, "will buying text links hurt or harm my search engine rankings?". Unfortunately, there’s no straight answer to that. The first question is, why do you buy links for your website? Is it to generate more traffic to your site, or just for publicity and exposure? If you want exposure only (ie. having your site seen by more people) then it doesn’t really matter what kind of links you are buying. The main consideration is to find a site that has lots of visitors and ask to pay them for posting a link on their site.

On the other hand, if you are trying to achieve top rankings on the search engines, then you must have very stringent criteria to the kind of text links to buy. Because if you buy backlinks on the wrong sites, you can be buried deep in the nowhere on the search engines. Once your site is penalized for buying links from bad places, it can take tons of work and time to clean it up! Not only you waste money on the links that do you no good, but actually harm you, you end up spending even more time trying to gain back the favor from the search engines. Some sites may not even recover from it at all.

Furthermore, unless you are prepared to spend hundreds of dollars each month, even up to thousand dollars or more, you would be better off finding cheaper means to get links for your website. Although there are many places claiming they can give you thousands of links immediate, many of them are just nothing but junk. You are getting links from sites that are either hosted on the same server, same IP address, same hosting company, or even similar content! Such links are not going to do you any good. And once again, having too many of such links can get you into deep trouble.

Don’t wasting your money on links that are too expensive to maintain, or buy text links from services that deliver only junk text links.

thank you!

I need to get my site up on Google. How do I do this? I read somewhere if you backlink to high PR sites, google will think they are connected to you and move your site up on the search engines?

basically you need to get back links (high pr or not) to improve your rank in Google. The bonus of high pr back links is that this pr will slowly get passed on to your site and your site will gain more authority.

Get back links by posting comments on blog with your website in the comment as a link. Post on forums or leave a link in your forum signature. There are various ways but they all take a little time and effort. Just dont spam these forums and blogs. Write things worth while and that relate to the topic.

i have a website, www.portlandsauto.com and i have been building backlinks. i have made about approx 150 in the last few days. Currently im getting on average of 600 visits per day. How much more backlinks should i make do have good google page rank?

While "very good" backlinks can be very beneficial to the successful ranking, popularity, of your website, poor backlinks can actually hurt you and lower any page rank that you might have worked hard for.

For example, if you have banklinks from other sites that have a poor ranking already, and worse yet include content that’s not related to the content of your own site, your page ranking will flounder even further.

Think of having quality backlinks to help drive search engine spiders more frequently to visit your website. That, along with adding new and fresh good content.

In looking at your site, you have no page rank now.

I would concentrate in writing more stories about cars for your website. Even starting a car blog would help you out a lot. Try adding more text on your pages instead of just links to your car ads.

Good Luck!

Link-building is one of the most important aspects of SEO but many business owners go about it the wrong way. Not all links are going to make a difference in your search engine rankings so blindly accumulating links will not be to your advantage. Of course the top search engines like Google tell us that the best links to have are natural links that you receive without taking any action on your own. While these natural backlinks are ideal, it’s not as easy as it sounds to get them.

Other Types of Quality Backlinks

There are many other ways to get killer backlinks besides naturally. Three factors you can use to measure the quality of backlinks are the source of the link, the motivation behind the link, and the link itself. When judging the source of a link, you have to look at the site’s page rank, how much quality content the site has, and if the site has a high number of quality backlinks itself. Killer backlinks come from popular websites that have high page rank and plenty of quality backlinks.

The motivation behind a backlink is judged by whether you had to manipulate someone or something in order to get the link or if the link was created based on pure intent. An example of a link made with pure intent is when someone makes a natural link to your site because they like your content and simply think you have a great site. A manipulative link on the other hand is a link you had to pay for or otherwise take some sort of action to get.

When judging the actual backlink itself, you have to look at how it is built. A link to your site that says click here is better than no link at all but it can’t be considered a high quality backlink. Ideally, backlinks should have anchor text containing your target keywords.

Tips for Accumulating Killer Backlinks

In a perfect world, hundreds of nice people with reputable websites would find your website and link to it simply because they think it rocks. Such natural links are harder to get than it sounds. The first step you can take towards attracting more of these natural links is by creating top-notch content that is interesting, informative, and useful to your site visitors.

Beyond natural links, there are a number of other types of backlinks that could be labeled killer backlinks. For example, you can share your content with a Creative Common License, allowing people to reproduce your articles, videos, and pictures, just so long as they link back to your site. On those terms, you can receive links anytime someone uses your content.

Creating what is known as linkbait is another way to receive tons of backlinks. Linkbait is interesting content that appeals to a large group of people. It could be a funny photoshopped picture, a catchy blog post about an evergreen topic in current events, and much more. Linkbait, also known as viral content, can attract tons of backlinks to your site in a short amount of time through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, and Reddit.

Other types of content that are viral in nature include content that can be embedded into people’s blogs and sites such as widgets and videos. An incredibly useful widget that includes a link back to your site can not only bring you a ton of backlinks, it can also drive a substantial amount of traffic to your site.

Another way to gather quality backlinks is through submitting your site to reputable directories such as the Better Business Bureau, the Yahoo Directory, and the Librarian’s Internet Index. You can also drive traffic to your site and build killer backlinks when you contribute articles and blog posts to popular blogs and article directories on the web. And don’t forget about the power of online press releases to build killer links to your site.

Link-building is not an exact science but focusing on accumulating quality backlinks will certainly pay off with time. Make the creation of quality, informative content your top priority and you’re sure to gradually attract those awesome natural links. Utilize these other link-building methods as well to help you achieve your long-term SEO goals.

Hope this helps.

When posting on backpage.com, how does this help your website ranking? Also, will your website appear in the organic searches from keyword searches or only if they type in the actual URL. Thank you!

Search engines often use the number of backlinks that a website has as one of the factors for determining that website’s search engine ranking. Most commercial search engines provide a mechanism to determine the number of backlinks they have recorded to a particular web page.

To let search engines index your new blog with its pages, you must build some links to the blog. The easiest way is by submitting it to blog directories. You can also exchange links with other related blogs. Increase your back-link numbers and therefore your website’s page rank by Back-links, page rank, Google-bot activity monitoring on your website’s pages and keywords analysis. Increase traffic to your website and get hits from related websites just using your own traffic. The system is very simple, all you need is to put in your pages a banner and as the websites from the banner will be receiving hits from your webpage your website will appear in similar banners from other websites (in similar categories as your website) and implicitly you will be receiving traffic from these websites.

Hope this helps.

I have a Catholic Prayers site and I want to have a good ranking in both Yahoo and Google. I learned that I need to have a lot of quality backlinks to achieve that. How can I get those links?

Here’s my site: http://ourcatholicprayers.blogspot.com

Thanks,

Go to my site, click over to the links page, and borrow some of mine:

Include a link in the description or comments section. Flickr allows you to add a link in the description.

keyword phrases

Don’t forget however that most photo sharing sites use no follow tags so you can get traffic from the link but no link value.

Hi,

I have created a website but not satisfied with the rank so please help me out where i can get proper link exchange.Check it out at http://www.goacyber.com

And please tell me will it help doing this?

Thanks

Your website is thin, so it will be hard to exchange links with authoritative, high PR websites.
What works for me is that I created free software and sent to a large number of websites, in return for a link. Hope this helps.

I was wondering if anybody has tips on how to acquire quality back links for my website. I want to increase my page rank. Any help would be appreciated.

Linking is such a powerful ranking influence that sometimes people get carried away with thinking ANY back link is good – not true.

First , stay away ( far away ) from link farms. You get a "Bad" backlink and wow, can that hurt your site. The easiest way to acquire relative backlinks is to make them yourself.

Post video’s related to your site on places like Youtube and have a link directly to your site both across the bottom of the video and over to the right in the description of the video clip.

Someone mentioned writing articles, this too is a good way to create relative backlinks, always add a text link back to your site.

Create your own blog on a relative subject and, again, have text links back to the site you want the traffic to go to. Comment on other "relative" blogs adding text at the end ( you guessed it ) pointing back to your site.

Make sure you offer a link exchange on your site you never know who may find your sites content worth linking to.

If you find another high ranking site you’d like to exchange links with, add a link to your page pointing back to them , then send an e-mail to the webmaster of that site something like this:

We’ve found your site to be very informative and useful and we’ve added a link on our page to your site, feel free to take a look at it and tell us if you approve. We would appreciate a reciprocal link from you in return.
Thank You
Your Name & Domain

These are just a few ways to get backlinks but it should give you enough to get started.
Have Fun

P.S. After looking over your site I’d say you’re off to a great start and you shouldn’t have too much trouble getting quality backlinks.
