How can i get backlinks for my website?

Your website is thin, so it will be hard to exchange links with authoritative, high PR websites.
What works for me is that I created free software and sent to a large number of websites, in return for a link. Hope this helps.

    There are lots of good ways to get back links. Even your link in this posting helps. Write articles, blog, use forum posts, submit to directories. find a competitor and use link:XXXsite.com to see who links to them and ask them for a link. Take a look at http://www.ribbonsbaskets.com my current seo project and let me know if you come up with something else I forgot to mention.

    I would advise against a link exchange. There are many ways to increase your page ranking besides link exchanges. Try using forums to post your links while providing good content. Also try submitting your site to directories such as DMOZ/
